by an SLR!!! i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw this engineering masterpiece. it's one thing to see it in a magazine, it's a totally different thing to see it reving at the light... so here's what happened... decent lookin black 350z with wing, rims, lowered, exhaust, guages up the yinyang, sounds of turbos spoolin' and a small dark grey NOS sticker on the lower rocker pannel.(i think he saw one too many f&f movies) Fairly young guy (early 30's) driving the 350. He was all inflated with his toy when out of nowhere comes this silver, long ass car that looked like it was seriously pissed with a benz logo up front... an SLR hardtop. my jaw droped. The driver of the SLR was a mid 50's gent with grayish hair pulled back in a pony-tail. He got next to the 350 at a light and just smiled at him. The light turned green and all i saw was the SLR slingshot off the line and just kept pulling on the 350. After utterly destroying the 350 by what seemed like a 1/4 mile gap, i saw something i haven't seen since i was in NY, the dancing lights of defeat!... that's where all the tail lights start flashing randomly signifying you just got your ass handed to you. But what a car... you gotta love the germans and their engineering skills. I SOOOO want one now. :) you think santa can get me one for x-mass?
